This is an article I wrote for The MedReport Foundation. Hearing about the terrible conditions in these detention centers made me wonder about the impact on the physical and mental health of those being detained. I was shocked at how many Americans don't know what's happening. A news peg about the rise in deaths gave the piece focus.
