Once upon a time, people were grateful for the advent of vaccines and trusted their healthcare provider's recommendations. Somehow we've come to a time filled with skepticism and fear, where misinformation spreads quickly online, often sounding convincing despite not being based in fact.

As a nurse and health writer, I’ve seen how damaging health misinformation can be, especially when it comes to vaccines. One myth I still see far too often is:

“Vaccines cause the illness they’re meant to prevent.”

Despite overwhelming scientific evidence, this myth continues to circulate. It creates fear, causes hesitation, and makes it harder for people to make informed health decisions.

As a freelance nurse writer, I focus on creating content that is clear, accurate, and trustworthy. My goal is to make complex information easier to understand and harder to misinterpret.

I’d love to hear your thoughts:

What’s one piece of vaccine misinformation you wish would disappear for good?

Let’s use our voices to promote facts over fear.
